As summer shifts into autumn, we all find ourselves seeking inspiration on how to adopt new trends for the season, prepare for holiday hosting later in the year, and transform our home’s ambiance from summery and airy to warm and cozy. Switching over Aera fragrances to welcome a new season certainly helps. But blogs also provide some new sources of meaningful lifestyle tips and trends. We asked the Aera team what lifestyle blogs they recommend!
Candice - I follow tons! I have to say my favorite would be Cupcakes & Cashmere. I have followed Emily from her early days (pre-Instagram), and have loved watching the evolution of her blog-turned-brand. I love her authentic approach to blogging – and the variety of posts. From home & lifestyle to food & fashion, she covers it all. I am also a huge fan of her clothing line at Nordstrom.
Rachel - The closest things I follow regularly are food and yoga blogs. I’m very passionate about both, so I love trying new ideas! Yoga with Adriene is great – she’s about the cutest person in the world. Also, Rosanna Pansino’s baking vlog.
Danielle - I follow mostly Vegan/Vegetarian/Spiritual Living blogs. Kris Carr is my favorite because it has Vegan/Vegetarian, Beauty, and Spiritual Living tips all in one!
Kelsey - I am a bit obsessed with pop culture, so I spend a lot of time (too much?) on HuffPost and Refinery29. For décor, I love the photo and interior design inspiration on Coco Kelley and Pulp Design Studios. I also check out what’s new on Magnolia Market each week. Bloglovin' is a great way to get a sneak-peek into a wide range of blog content sources, customized to your preferences.
Kmarie - Apartment Therapy. It is my ultimate source of inspiration for taking a small place and getting it from drab to fab. The DIY section is my favorite because I like making/building things.
Ben - I’m obsessed with travel blogs - they’re a great way to live vicariously, and they also give me a lot of ideas on crafts, designs, foods, and other things I can try at home. One of my friends has a great blog called The Bold Brunette, but I also love pouring over Atlas Obscura, Jungles in Paris, and Thrillist whenever possible.
