    Troubleshooting
    Here's a key to understanding and troubleshooting potential issues with your Aera device, if you notice any abnormal flashing LED lights.

    Up and Down (1-10, 10-1,1-10, etc.) Eject and Re-insert Capsule
    Fade In and Out (all lights) Eject and Replace Capsule

    Factory Reset
    To reboot your device please follow these steps.
    1. Press and hold both "+" and "-".
    2. Wait for 10 seconds and release both.
    3. All 10 lights will blink once, signaling the start of the reboot.
    4. Wait 15 seconds.
    5. All 10 lights will blink three times, signaling the completion of the reboot.
    App Start Guide

    You Aera device(s) can be controlled remotely from a smartphone via the AeraForHome app. The setup process differs slightly between iPhone and Android. Please select the correct platform below.

    Download the app from the Apple App Store and start scheduling your custom home fragrance experience.

    1. Make sure your Aera device is powered on. (Refer to the Quick Start Guide to get your device manually set up.)
    2. Make sure that your phone and the Aera device are within range of your Wi-Fi access point.
    3. Sign up for the app by creating a user name and password.
    4. After signing in, go to your phone Settings, Wi - Fi. Look for the Aera Device Network: select, and return back to the app.
    5. Once back in the app, select your home or local network. You will need your home Wi-Fi password to connect your device.
    6. Follow the on-screen instructions to rename your Aera device based on the room where it will reside.

    With the app you can power on/off your Aera device and change fragrance intensity from the home screen. Use the scheduler to plan automatic home fragrancing at days and times that suit your preferences.
